The End

We will be heading back to the states Sunday. We will miss this place tremendously! We have made many strong Chrisitan friendships and feel that God has really blessed us. Thank you so much for all the support and love that you have shown us. We know that we are truly blessed to have had this experience. We have had the opportunity to make new friendships and also a chance to realize how truly blessed we are. At times, it is easy to let struggles and worries overcome our blessings, but being here has relit our fire. We will never forget the friends we have made, or how lucky we all are to have had this experience. God is so very good.

Week 5

Everybody feels at home sweet home! We now have tons of readers signed up and showing up everyday! We will be having a wacky Olympic party tomorrow! Jeremy and Chassey went and visited a local school located in the slums. They took them candy and school supplies. It was amazing how happy the children were to see them. The readers are really enjoying learning more about Jesus everyday. Again, thank you for the support and all the love.

Week 4

Jeremy, Sara, Tessily, and Chassey got to Kenya safe and sound! New readers are showing up to read with the new team members. We had a country theme party where the locals got to eat smores! They all loved marshmellows! Africa is feeling more and more like home! Thank you for all the support and love!

WEEK 3 KENYA and our READERS

Dear AWESOME FRIENDS

WEEK 3 was soooooooo Awesome. We feel like we are now locals here!!!! Kenya is such a blessing. We haave so many readers and we have NEW ones signing up everyday!!! We see baboons everyday going to read with readers. We have tried to feed them apples. The readers are becoming closer to us EVERY time we read the Bible with them. All the church members are SOOO nice to us. Thank you again for the blessings

Week 2- God is doing AMAZING things in Kenya

It has been two weeks now !!!!! We have made so many friends here in Kenya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jacob and Melvina have 30 readers signed up. All of our readers are soo happy to be reading. We have people signing up everyday. God is AMAZING. We have learned so much of the language. We participate in a very uplifting devotional everyday, at our home the Great Commission School. We have also worshiped at two churches. We will try to continue to fellowship with as many sisters and brothers as possible and connect our readers with them. Thank you all so much for everything. We are being blessed everyday here in Kenya with love from our readers and church members.

We are Leaving for Kenya Tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are very excited to be spreading the Word of our Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you, Thank you sooo much for everyone who has been supporting us We are so grateful to God to be venturing out to Spread the Good News!!
We will have our first meeting to meet our readers and set up appointments the first day we arrive. The missionary of Nairobi, Kenya said there are tons of people signed up for Free English lessons from the Bible. We are also excited about attending the Church of Christ at Magadi Road and praising Jesus with our Kenyan brothers and sisters. Please continue to pray for us. We will be updating this blog once a week so all of you can share with us the blessings of Jesus Christ. Thank you again to everyone!!!
